On Wednesday night a captivated audience was treated to a truly wonderful and engaging event of piano music.

Pianists ranging from Years 11 to 13, and a wonderful guest appearance by a piano duet of two Year 8 pupils, treated us to a wide range of music, from Chopin and Debussy to even a world premiere of Toby England’s first opus.

In the beautiful setting of St Paul’s church, the music truly spoke and touched everybody’s hearts, at a time that we seem to need that even more than before.

A huge thanks to Rory Weng, Leo Zhuang, Ben Edey, Tom Simons, Ian Gao, Dan Loach, Ben Blakeborough, Sam Poole, Hazel Cuthill and Toby England for playing beautifully and sharing the musical stories with us.

QEH’s annual Lizzies Awards celebrated pupil creativity with an inspiring showcase of short films based on the themes ‘Three Wishes’ and ‘Myths’.

We are immensely grateful for your teaching, support and guidance. My daughter’s had a terrific time at QEH. Results day made us very proud of course; and the warmth and mutual respect of staff and students filled the room. The environment at QEH has helped my daughter grow, be challenged, and really learn about herself and the world. Thank you again, and may the school continue to thrive.
