QEH has been awarded the Eco-School Green Flag with distinction.

A huge thanks to all our Junior and Senior School Eco-Reps who’s ideas and project work linked to a number of themes – school grounds, transport and water – have contributed to this award. Thanks to the wider school community for continuing to support our environmental initiatives over the year. With only a few weeks left this term, the Eco-Group is already thinking ahead to September, with ideas for more transport initiatives, healthy living and recycling projects

Dr N Woodfield, Sustainability Co-ordinator

QEH have also officially contracted Dr Woodfield as our Sustainability Coordinator, starting from September! The intent is to focus on excelling the school’s sustainability, and be the leading Eco School in the country. With Dr Woodfield and the Eco-Group in our corner, we are sure this dream will be realised!

QEH’s annual Lizzies Awards celebrated pupil creativity with an inspiring showcase of short films based on the themes ‘Three Wishes’ and ‘Myths’.

Since joining the school, we have been constantly amazed by the support and kindness given by the teachers, staff and other pupils and, above all, by the injection of fun that infiltrates throughout whether they're playing sport, completing a science project and participating in a school play.  No doubt there will be challenges ahead but we're confident the school will provide the support and guidance that has our sons' best interests at heart.
