Under 14’s – did fantastically well to reach the second day after wins over Rugby School, Birkenhead and Cwn Rhymni. After a narrow loss to St Benedicts and a win over Uppingham we lost out on points difference in the group.

1st VII team had a good win over Bedford Modern, after unfortunate losses to Millfield and Pocklington.  Our Under 16 team had some great wins over Hymers and Greenhill, before a loss to eventual group winners, Durham School.  Our Under 13 team finished with 2 great wins over The Oratory School and King Edward’s Bath in the Waterfall Tournament.

Well done to all who took part.

This article brings together first-hand memories, school archives, and reflections from that extraordinary period — a vivid reminder of the freedoms we now enjoy, made possible by the sacrifices of the past.

Thank you for making Alec’s first week so enjoyable. He’s loved every day and has come home really happy. In particular, he’s said the other boys have made him feel really included and like he’s always been there.
