The sun shone when 63 boys from Year 5 and 6 left very early last Friday for the annual Sports Trip. The next two days were full of fun, smiles, excitement and lots of sport.

A wonderful tour of the facilities at St George’s Park, as well as two fabulous activity sessions helped the boys get rid of their energy.

From there to Salford to watch the Red Devils play in the Super League against Leeds Rhinos, as well as the additional excitement of greeting the teams as they entered the pitch with a massive flag. The games were fabulous and the fact that so many Salford players signed autographs made sure that the boys had a memorable evening.

A good night’s sleep followed.

After a wonderful breakfast, the boys travelled to Old Trafford for a tour around the famous Theatre of Dreams and a visit to the equally famous club shop.

After lunch, we travelled down the M6 to the bet365 Stadium to watch Stoke City play Millwall. Stoke was victorious and from there we made our way back to Bristol…

QEH’s annual Lizzies Awards celebrated pupil creativity with an inspiring showcase of short films based on the themes ‘Three Wishes’ and ‘Myths’.

Live theatre is here to stay at QEH, as pupils from Years 3 and 4 put on an incredible production of Jack and the Beanstalk last week in our theatre.

We are so happy we made the decision to send our son to QEH.  He has settled in quickly and enjoys everything the school has to offer in terms of academic studies and extra-curricular activities.  He goes to school happy and he comes home from school happy.
