Year 7 went on a team building trip to Osmington Bay PGL centre for a weekend of activities and friendships.

Whilst at Osmington Bay, Year 7 participated in a variety of activities with a view towards the students building friendships across the year group and learning some new skills.

The activities the students took part in included: climbing, shelter building, fire lighting and fencing. However, the headline activity proved to be raft building at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy. The students demonstrated superb teamwork by constructing their own rafts and then sailing them (with some proving to be more seaworthy than others!)

Overall, the trip was an enjoyable experience for the students, which they will look back on fondly in the years to come.

Thank you very much to the Year 7 Pastoral Team, Mr Hawkes, Mr Matiscsak, Ms Gardiner and Mr Cox for joining the trip.

As our Year 13 students prepare for their exams, QEH marked this poignant moment with a day of celebration, reflection, and tradition. From heartfelt speeches and emotional goodbyes to the historic reading of The Charge

Celebrating the Class of 2025

At QEH Junior School, learning goes beyond the classroom with a wide range of clubs in sports, arts, STEM, and more. With expert coaching and sessions throughout the day, every pupil can discover new passions and develop key skills.

Introducing Golf to QEH Junior School

Live theatre is here to stay at QEH, as pupils from Years 3 and 4 put on an incredible production of Jack and the Beanstalk last week in our theatre.

You run a remarkable school with an ethic that is truly unique. It shines through in each and every boy. There’s something in the way the teachers know every boy’s talent and in the way the boys support each other (while also embracing real competition!) that’s just remarkable.
